Beware of Fake QuickBooks Email
Be on the lookout for fake Intuit QuickBooks related emails such as the example below.
Never click a link or button within any email that asks you to enter your account login credentials or update your account.
Even if you believe the email to be legitimate, it is safer to open a web browser, log into your account manually, and take whatever action you need. Using a web browser to login, is safer than clicking a link from within an email.
Please inform all staff within your organization to be on the lookout for and delete this QuickBooks related email. Also, advise them to delete any email, such as this one, which is asking for account information or changes.
Per QuickBooks, their emails will always come from @intuit.com or @e.intuit.com.
Notice in the screenshot above that this email claims to have been sent through @secure.net which is not a valid QuickBooks email address.
