Note 1: Do not purchase mechanical SATA hard drives
Current versions of Windows access your computer's drive much more frequently than Windows 7 did.  This constant access to the hard drive has created a condition we call "100% disk utilization" which exhibits itself as slowness, hesitations and "not responding".  Be sure to purchase the newer Solid State Drives rather than the older mechanical SATA hard drives.

Note 2:  Properly size your solid state drive
How big your solid state drive needs to be depends on what you will do with the computer.  For email and some documents a 256GB drive should be plenty.  If you plan to have a lot of pictures, videos or documents, consider a 500GB solid state drive.

Note 3: Get Windows Professional for office use
We strongly recommend that you purchase the Professional edition of Windows if you will be working in an office environment.  Home edition is fine for most home users.

*** We can help you with proper anti-virus software, anti-malware software, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) software and with moving your data from your old computer to the new computer.  ***
