Google defines "phishing" as, "a form of cybercrime where attackers impersonate legitimate organizations or individuals to trick victims into revealing sensitive information, such as login credentials, credit card details, or other personal data."

What is Unique About This Attack?
This particular email attempts to scare the reader into clicking on a link that takes the reader to a carefully constructed (fake) website designed to ask for the reader's Google login credentials. The web page is completely fake but ironically is hosted on Google's own sites.google.com platform!
When in Doubt Ask Your I.T. Person
When receiving a suspicious email, please contact your I.T. person and ask them if such emails are legitimate before you attempt to click on any links and definitely before you enter your username and password.
