Our servers are configured to monitor for suspicious behavior such as too many incorrect login attempts. After 3 incorrect login attempts, your public IP address (assigned by your Internet Service Provider) will be temporarily blocked from accessing our server. If you experience too many temporary blocks, our server will permanently block your IP address.
Symptoms of Your IP Being Blocked
There are two symptoms that will indicate your home or office IP may have been blocked by our server.
- You get prompted for your email password over and over again even if you know you are entering the correct email password.
- You cannot see your website (if hosted on our servers) or access our web mail interface.
What To Do If You Think Your IP Has Been Blocked
Open your Internet browser
Write down the numbers to the right of the “My Public IPv4 is:”
Email that IPv4 to email@example.com with a summary of your issue.
Wait for us to unblock your IP.
